Oxford International Research Leadership Programme StudentsMentoring has the potential to play an important role in the personal and professional development of academic leaders in primary care research. This programme provides participants with the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experiences of current leaders in primary care research.

A database of people who have accepted an invitation to be a mentor on the programme for a set period is provided on the website. Participants can select a potential mentor who matches their needs from the database and contact them using the contact details provided. The mentor and the mentee then, if suitable, agree the terms and conditions for the mentoring period which usually lasts for 12 months.
